Destiny Carriers Youth Ministry (DCYM)

The Destiny Carriers Youth Ministry (DCYM) is dedicated to nurturing and equipping the young generation within the Church community. DCYM provides a platform for young individuals to develop their faith, character, and skills while engaging with various aspects of life. Through a range of activities, workshops, discussions, and mentorship, the Youth Ministry aims to guide and empower young people to become vibrant and impactful leaders in their families, the Church, and society.

Vision

To establish a vibrant and transformative ministry that empowers youth to embrace their God-given destinies and passionately follow Christ in partnership with the church.

Mission

To raise up a generation of young men and women who are rooted in their faith, filled with the Holy Spirit, and equipped to positively influence their peers, families, the Church, and their communities.

The Five-Fold Ministry Framework of Destiny Carriers Youth

Spiritual Growth

  • Fostering a strong and authentic relationship with God through intentional spiritual growth, discipleship, and meaningful worship experiences.

  • Promoting unity and a sense of belonging among young individuals, creating a supportive and inclusive community within the Church.

Personal Development

  • Providing a safe and encouraging environment for youth to explore their identities, talents, and passions, helping them discover and embrace their unique purposes.

  • Empowering young people to develop essential life skills, emotional intelligence, and resilience that will serve them in their personal and professional journeys.

Outreach and Service

  • Encouraging youth to passionately serve others and make a positive impact on their local communities and beyond.

  • Instilling a heart for social justice and compassion, and equipping young individuals to be agents of change in a world that needs hope and transformation.

Faith in Action

  • Empowering youth to live out their faith boldly by being witnesses of God's love, both in word and deed.

  • Encouraging young individuals to share the message of the Gospel in relevant ways that resonate with their peers and contemporary culture.

Leadership and Mentorship

  • Equipping young people with leadership skills and qualities grounded in humility, wisdom, and integrity.

  • Providing mentorship and guidance through intentional relationships with experienced adults who model a Christ-like life.

The Destiny Carriers Youth Ministry envisions a generation of young individuals who are spiritually vibrant, socially conscious, intellectually curious, and emotionally resilient. Through intentional growth, meaningful connections, and purposeful action, DCYM aims to raise young leaders who will carry forward the message of Christ, positively impacting their spheres of influence and contributing to a better future.
